Nearly two decades ago, Pastor Michell Marte felt God calling him to move his family to the town of Navarrete. At the time, he was unsure of what God had in store, but he remained obedient. Michell began hosting small services in his sister’s home. At one of the services, he asked if anyone wanted to accept God; one individual raised their hand. It only took this one raised hand to light the spark inside of Michell’s heart. Now located in the neighboring community of Pontón, Michell often reflects on those services in his sister’s home and how they paved the way for an abundant ministry and growing church.

Hace casi dos décadas, el pastor Michell Marte sintió que Dios lo llamaba a trasladar a su familia al pueblo de Navarrete. En ese momento, no estaba seguro de lo que Dios tenía reservado, pero permaneció obediente. Michell comenzó a albergar pequeños servicios en la casa de su hermana. En uno de los servicios, preguntó si alguien quería aceptar a Dios; un individuo levantó la mano. Solo hizo falta esta mano levantada para encender la chispa dentro del corazón de Michell. Ahora ubicado en la comunidad vecina de Pontón, Michell a menudo reflexiona sobre esos servicios en la casa de su hermana y cómo allanaron el camino para un ministerio abundante y una iglesia en crecimiento.
